NEWSCAST HISTORY
WHO: The people who participate in newscasts are the cameraman, editor and the news reporter herself/himself. Also the people who make up the news and find the facts.

WHERE: Newscasts can take place pretty much anywhere. It all depends where the story happens.
WHEN: Newscasts started on the radio in 1916 by Dr. Frank Conrad. Near the end of the war, they started experimenting with television newscasts. In 1941, television had it’s first newscast. Both CBC and NBC started up and newscasts were born.
WHY: To inform people of what’s going on in the world and locally. It’s also a way of documenting history.
HOW: There are lessons available and lots to learn on the making of newscasts. I hope to learn that this year
