Radio Article

The class was asked to make a radio format article about a news story picked from the paper.
Here is what I came up with:

A 24 year old man was rushed to hospital today after being shot by police. At around 7 am police got a call from a woman saying she had been stabbed. When police got to the home, they saw a man trying to conceal a knife while walking away. A neighbor watched as police ordered the man to drop the knife. When he refused, they shot him. He is now in stable condition at the hospital. Charges have not yet been laid yet, but police believe the man stabbed his girlfriend and her grandma. The girlfriend escaped to a neighbor and called 911. The officers involved have been placed under mandatory administrative leave and will be cleared by a psychologist before returning to duty.
